Beautiful weather in Southern Maine last weekend
In Response To: Wednesday is PHOTO DAY! ()

We decided to splash the aluminum skiff in the Harraseeket River Saturday afternoon and take a run up one of the little tidal estuaries. Just above that fallen tree, at a little falls where the creek becomes fresh water, is an old, rotting log bridge. I'm guessing it was once used by the folks who lived at the nearby saltwater farm for harvesting firewood. The boat ride also gave me a chance to try out the "new" 1975 Johnson 15hp outboard that I bought for the RIB late last fall.
