Wow, that is awesome.
Definitely a security issue for ships, and a privacy issue for private yachts
We decided not to get transponder. We like to keep a low profile.
Transmitter is pushbutton off
The other fact is -----
My net cost was ~$350 to upgrade.
I wonder if the Coast Guard stealth vessel that intercepted us ...
Standard procedure
You're right Brian - it was the first time we have been boarded...
Where is Daniel Taylor?
Thanks; I can see my boat
Wow. Do you have to submit a pic? I looked at some locally....
You supply your own pictures etc.
That is just unreal - wish we had that crossing the stream
You had Internet access in the Stream?
...uh ....well, er, no! ...I just mean I wish we had that other "stuff"
Just checkin', gonna give you a bad time...
Where is that location in your photo? Beautiful.
Russian Gulch, N. California, left over from Photo day
Wow, that AIS Website is very nice!
No traffic in Norfolk right now . . I guess that's because of the rain . . .
Perhaps no reporting stations?
We've got a full-blown Northeaster here. Buoys in LIS reporting 6+ foot wave heights
Sure glad the roofers finished up Friday!
I imagine there would have to be a reporting station in the area
Reporting seems to be a volunteer effort.
