Wipe edges to glue with acetone before applying glue..whatever you use.

I have used epoxy with success many times. I have lately used Titebond III waterproof glue for a couple pair of companionway boards. I cannot yet speak to the success for long term but it was sure easy to use.

- West G-Flex epoxy will work very well
- thick boards will not work the way you are going to do it
- A friend used black 5200 to look like caulk.
