no matter what. I was going to skip Newfoundland entirely, but if I could see some of it in a few days I would do it. I have to get the boat to Maine before it gets stormy. I have to get the boat south before I die. Always a schedule. Took so damn long to build the boat I am already about 5 years behind.

Anyway, there are more than a couple kinds of cruisers. I start getting nervous after about the second day in any one place. Some people like to travel a couple of days then settle in for a few. If Newfoundland was the only thing left on my list of things to see and do, I would take the time. But I still have about 3 lifetimes worth of stuff on the list, and time's 'a wastin'!
