Since it is 4-stroke it only does an intake every other revolution. I get 72.2 cfm.

Anyone know how I can calculate the CFM of air that my diesel consumes.
your engine mfg should have that info readily available....

Are the RPM's measured at the end of the crank shaft or the end of the transmission?
I've not seen readings for other than engine rpm.
I beleive that's right...So I think for our Yanmar 4JH4-HTE

THe engine needs to shut off as you hit the fire extinguisher unless you're using a foam vs. "gas"?
