Saftey for person in engine room
In Response To: Anyone know how I can calculate the CFM of air that my diesel consumes. ()
My boat (Coast 34) has an engine room rather than engine compartment. CO2 discharge could suffocate someone in the engine room if it discharged while occupied. Is there a disarm switch to minimize this risk or do I need to use the next generation Halon product that is designed to be discharged without killing the people while putting out the fire?
