I have one called the A640. I have had this camera for several years, and about a month ago I dropped it and broke the lens housing. Lens was ok - but would not go in or out - sort of stuck in the middle.

It is a pretty good little camera and I sent it to Canon in Chicago for repair - $80 some dollars and it is back here on my desk. I don't think that Canon offers this camera any longer - but probably find one on the internet from Amazon or others.

Takes 4 AA batteries and had a very long battery life. The camera takes pretty good video.
