Bobstay anchor chafe
In Response To: doesn't that put a lot of strain on the bobstay fitting? ()
If your fitting isn't strong enough for a snubber, it's not strong enough, period. The bobstay is the most highly loaded wire on your boat. That fitting should be way stoutly mounted capable of handling any load a snubber could put on it.
