water tank wild idea...
Plan B...polyethylene or polypropylene...
Yeah but that would mean cutting out the old tank and squeezing in a new tank.
Not suggesting you replace the tank, just the lid with PE or PP instead of plexi
PE or PP might not support the seat
I can't imagine the tank supporting the seat top..
My tank lid supports the V-berth
Oh. Hhhuh...mmmmm.....sounds of discovery
I don't believe that you
Yeah, they do have scrap pieces...
I think you could pretty much use any kind
My last two boats came with acrylic plastic sheet covers on the fresh water tank
I have to use a gasket anyway...
Plex drilling takes special "bits"
Drilling plastic
Thanks, good idea...
Gene- it really doesn't take 'special bits' I've drilled a ton of plexi with just plain twist bits- but

I might be able to get it from the plastic folks themselves...
Check the different characteristics between plexi and lexan to see what you want.

I almost never disagree with Charlie on anything..but this is one.
PVC
Lots of PVC is not rated by FDA (lead)

Good feed back from ALL... this is why I come back here over and over again... THANKS
Nice boat!
I would use lexan (polycarbonate) instead of plexiglass...
I was thinking about Lexan...
Replace the whole damn thing
