We've been in the Bahamas for 6+ months for each of the past three years and find it not too long. We check in around 11/15 and leave in early June. That much time allows you to get to the spots you want. It will allow you to get to the ouoter islands like Rum, Conception, Jumentos, Raggeds, Aklins, etc. We rarely stay in one spot for more than a week at a time. That much time also allows you to wait out the fronts to get to where you want to go. You want to avoid tight schedules that a short time frame can create.
We will be returning again this year, also...good sailing!
