that's as far north as we like in winter months. If you don't make it to Conception, Rum, Jumentos, Long Island, Crooked/Acklins and the small island east of there, Samana, etc., you'll be missing our favorite places. You can easily spend 4-6 months doing these places, with short hops back to G'town for provisions and so on. Don't get sucked into the social scene at Georgetown, it's a bit much. Take the weather windows to explore the above out islands, there is plenty of all around protection in most of those areas, and the ones where there is not, there is some a short distance away. Most cruisers stop at Georgetown, then head back north.
