we do the same thing. you'll remember it was pretty cold last winter. not too bad during the day but evenings were chilly so we put the coleman under the salon table while we sat there eating dinner, playing games, reading books, watching dvd's or tv. then we took it into berth area to warm it up before we went to bed.
if you haven't tried it yet, consider buying one of those devices that lets you fill the small one pound coleman bottle from your large 20 pound lpg tank. they really work and save lots of money. those $3.00 tanks contain about 60 cents of lpg. the secret by the way (and it's no secret if, unlike me, you actually READ the instructions) is to cool down the small bottle by putting it in your fridge for fifteen minutes. the cold bottle sucks up the lpg from the big tank with a 'whoooosh'!
