cheap tools can cause injury, make the job a lot more difficult, and get in the way of a satisfactory result. Quality tools last longer, stay sharper, can work with greater precision, and operate smoother with less effort, and are safer -- AND they feel better and are more satisfying to work with.

Something like a pickup grapnel, hydraulic jack, magnet or funnel doesn't matter -- a router, saw or other power tool matters a lot. Lifting tools matter a whole lot, especially if used to suspend a heavy object overhead.
