Yep, ditto Larry

I bought the gun with the igniter and did not care for it. Wellllll, actually, everytime I pushed the ignite button it shocked the living crap out of me. So after a dozen tries just to be sure my wife had enough proof on how dumb I really am, I took it back and got the $20 one without the igniter. They both have the same heat mechanism, a little knob to control the base flame, then the "turbo" squeeze handle to give you the full 3,000* flame. I find that to be excessive so I control the amount of heat with the little control knob and find that it works perfect for me. I actually did not come up with this idea myself. There is a guy that uses almost the same unit, but with a longer wand, to wrap bunches of boats at the club. He said he prefers the flame control over a heat shrink gun. So, $800 vs. $20?? No brainer for me.

Like Larry said, the quality of some of their stuff, especially power tools, is garbage. The only thing I bought that I really like is the random orbit sander for bottom painting. It does a good job and I don't feel as bad when the tool gets full of bottom paint dust and siezes up. My Craftsman and Skill sanders did not last as long.
