I’m a broken record on this, of course… But I believe it has much more to do with making a boat choice on the basis of accommodation and comfort, and how closely it resembles a house, giving only a passing nod to its performance under sail… And then, loading it down with so much kroozing krap that whatever minimal sailing potential it once may have possessed is completely compromised, and the speed under sail alone – even in ideal conditions – is no longer even close to what it is under power…

Schedules - even the loosest, most flexible - simply seal the deal… LOL!
