'course the rig is a bit unusual, but I have tried it in 30 knots or so, just the reefed mizzen up, boat made a square drift at about 30 degrees apparent. I could vary the angle just by how I trimmed the mizzen. I have a lot of windage up forward with the mast right in the bow. But the mizzen is also a pretty effective sail, full battens and square head cut very flat, maybe that is the difference. I can actually make slow progress to windward under mizzen alone if there isn't too much seaway. I haven't tried heaving to in more wind, people warn me that the bow will tend to go off the higher the wind gets.
