Something I didn't know about Fortress/Danforth type anchors
I've never heard of that. Thanks Larry.
I've had trouble resetting for current/wind change in mud with Danforth style.
Yes me too. My Danforth type anchors either set well, or not at all.
I use a Danforth regularly in mud
I'm missing something.
anchor dragging
I've anchored out hundreds of times.
I've dragged a few times, but I think you've hit the secret to anchoring.
I've anchored in Willsboro Bay many times.
Big wind shift = drag
What brand anchor?
anchor dragged once this past season
Jerry...
anchored there many times before
Abandoned something..
well, I sort of remembered a mooring
Ah-ha! Nice to find out that you've been doing something right

Hmmm. Sounds good, but issues. Will slice through the hand like a knife too
XYZ says that too..

make sure you wear gloves
Mine predates the Extreme saw blade, and so does not have to be registered as a weapon.
That's pretty scary. Just looked at the site.
