Do some research on the net and the kindle wins. Huge distribution and easy to read. The ipad for extended reading is a PITA. Doesn't mean don't get one, just expect it be used for other things. We're working on getting rid of most of our book books and relying primarily on the Kindle. Have one, adding a second this year. Sweet that in Colombia I needed another book in a series I was reading and I connected to the wifi tower and downloaded it from Amazon.
