Impeller pumps can't be run dry without damage.

The shorter ones work okay-- the longer ones can be a challenge.
I'm using the 15ft Hosecoil Side Mount Enclosure
That is what we had on TPIII, worked fine!
speaking of washdowns... how about a seawater/freshwater system...
Kind of a neat idea, but you would want different nozzles

We have raw and fresh water -- both at the galley and anchor washdown
That's the thing I was wondering... the sanitary and maintence issues...
I don't currently have a wash down system...
I used to do that on prior boats
