Seems like many boats have arrived in Penobscot Bay.

I noticed what seemed to be twice the amount of sailboats on the water and many more in the harbors. The bigger boats are showing up as well. These two motorboats were docked at Wayfarer in Camden where my daughter works summers. BYSTANDER, with Mt Battie in the background is the support boat for the J-class racing boat VALSHEDA. She'd be in here too but draws 15 feet or so.

This is a big week on the bay with the Castine to Camden race, followed by the Brooklin Feeder race and finally, the Eggemoggin Reach Regatta this coming weekend that draws boats from all parts. I don't race these days but I still very much enjoy watching the sport.
