As I am leaving the marina... yesterday the local waters were just full of fools trying to get impaled on my bow sprit... somehow they must think I can stop on a dime.

I know what is happening, and it really ticks me off... there is a local board and kayak rental place in the basin where I keep my boat... and for a handful of shekels, they will put anyone on these things with barely any instruction and shove them out into the water... Then these new "boaters" tend to clog the narrow passageways in and out of the basin, or they head down the fairways at the slips, or they simply paddle about aimlessly. Add to that, another local rental place that will rent a boat to anybody...

I'm thinking of adding a cattle guard to my dolphin striker... at least the dolphins are smart enough to get out of the way.
