I would consider Cape May to be my primary bail out spot. It is about half way down the rumb line and about a 24 hr sail from BI. The other New Jersey ports are too close to your departure and the weather isn't likely to deteriorate that soon.

As you note, Ocean City may be untenable if the wind blasting in from the east.
