Though I haven't been in...Atlantic City has a marina. The inlet looks pretty doable -- except in a severe storm (BUT YOU SHOULDN'T BE TRYING IT THEN!)
Cape May (on Lewes Side) has a harbor of refuge which is sheltered from waves, but not wind). It's realtively shallow, but will work. You can duck into Cape May -- but that's an ocean side entrance...
Ocean City is you only other choice. You can find a marina just inside the inlet. Again, you have a breakwater entrance which would be a bit tricky in a South-ish wind -- but doable if you had to do it, except in in an exteme storm.
[I remember decades ago, I was entering Ocean City during tornado warnings. The fishing trawlers that were coming in around me, turned around. That was a clue, even to dense me [at the time]. I turned around (without any real instruments that we have today. I ran for 10 minutes at a reciprocal course, then turned 180 degrees. The thunderstorm that was piling down on us passed after some "fun".
We entered Ocean City without event. The rock jetty/breakwater is not to be toyed with. It's not Charleston, but for it's length -- I'd stay away from it ;^).
Your next, and only real stop is Norfork's entrance. You have some choices inside, if you need them. But at least you have an all weather entrance.
