Thanks guys, That's just about what I thought. It would be a push.

I know Dan had some problems with theft in Panama on the hard and I helped him repair some items when he left his boat in the Rio Dulcy in the water. Dan, did you have the same kinds of problems when you splashed her after being on the hard? I have AGM batteries I don't want to screw up, I don't want the boat to cook and I want someone to be able to come in a clean. I'm leaning towards leaving it in the water but I guess that means at least once every 3 months I'll be on an air plane if I do that. Our bilge pumps are on separate circuits now. One is directly to the batteries and one is through the regular DC circuits. I like the counter idea and it would be pretty easy to install. I would have to leave the DC on for one of the bilge pumps but I would have to leave it on anyway for the refrigeration systems to keep working. I don't want to shut them off because that really leaves you open for problems. Better to just let them run, fill them both up with bottles of water and let them go. INHO. I don't like the thought of leaving the boat but the summers in the tropics are no fun either. What to do, what to do, what to do???
