On my old Freedom 25 the carbon fiber mast was quite heavy. 
In Response To: 800 pounds on a 32 footer? Yikes. Maybe it IS a light pole. ()
It required a crane to unstep it and probably weighed around 200 to 250 lbs'ish. I could lift one end and of course one end was a lot heavier. The step up from 25' and 3500 lbs to 34' and how many pounds likely makes a fair difference in mast weight.
