I took a few minutes to read over the reviews on this boat here at hunterowners.com, I didn't say anything to my friend other than there are reviews to read.......he did not. He did drive 3 hours to look at the boat though, as per several of the reviews, the boat "smells". Water leaks. My friend said the boat is gooped up everywhere there is a piece of deck hardware, all the portlights, everything has a good dose of silicone sealer, but it smells of mildew or something. He was also disappointed to find that it had a hanked on headsail. No roller furling. The broker said it would require a special type of RF that would likely not last anyhow. With no forestay or stem fitting, the furler would have to go on the rigging used to hank on the jib. The suspicion was the the foil would flex so much that it would fatigue in short order. Also that the headsail on a furler would be "hankie sized".
