Mostly schooners beginning their week long cruises out of Rockland and Camden, but more than 20 sailboats came into view as I entered. There was wind out on the Gulf of Maine, but in the wrong direction for me. Most everyone here on the bay was sailing a reach, east or west.
The bay is always a beautiful sight to return to. Coming from the south, we come through either the Muscle Ridge Channel, or the more open Two Bush Channel. I know I'm home when I go through either doorway. At that point, you can set your AP or swing your compass to 000, and in 5 or 6 nm, you're home.
That will bring you right into my mooring. Soon the cleft of a deep blue harbor in the green hills will materialize ahead.
That's my water address, "triple ought".
