fume, fire and bilge alarm system and one is a 12 volt buzzer that is connected across the float switch to my second bilge pump. If water ever comes in faster then the first and lowest pump can handle and the second pump comes on then the second alarm will sound along with it. That's when I would really start to worry. I have a third bilge pump that can be switched over by rotating two three way valves from a deck wash down to a bilge pump and a forth 2000 GPH pump on a 12 Volt plug and then we have the "Jesus Pump". It's a 120VAC trash pump that moves a bunch of water and almost anything else that gets into it. My wife was on the dock one day and overheard someone talking about using the "Jesus Pump" and asked me what that was. I told her that it's the pump you grab when someone yells "Jesus! get the pump!".
