Drift Away is now in Kingston, having made the trip from Stamford in eight days. It's all in the blog, but after many misadventures we're now running like a top.

Thankfully, there were no misadventures at Hell Gate or the East River. Hanging a right at the battery and heading up the Hudson River, we were greeted by this NYFD fire boat. I don't know how they knew were were coming. It will be one of those mysteries that we'll never answer, I guess.
