Inside Hadley Harbor, we came upon a mooring clearly marked, PRIVATE. That was convenient. I was looking for some privacy.

Soon after tying up for the night, the white sail of a small sloop broke through the entrance to the south. I was watching it make it's way toward us, to windward, when another small sloop came through, same size. Soon after, another,.... and then another. Then like a cloud of butterflies, the entrance was suddenly full of them, and we were engulfed in white sails!

We all got out of cabins or stood in cockpits as an obvious class race came through Hadley Harbor. They rounded the windward mark at the head of the harbor, and then ran back through the harbor past our boats.

It was a beautiful sight that I thought would have been wonderful video if set to the right music.
