The cable ferry connects the beach at Half Moon Bay Yacht Club with the small boat float. It's even electrically driven via the shack on the float. There must be a buried cable getting to the float. It was nice to see kids out on the float unsupervised except for the adults at the clubhouse having their afternoon libations and starting the fire pit. It looked like a nice club to belong to.

The kids kept messing with the control so the ferry was shuttling back and forth but not picking them up. Finally, an adult used the COMMAND VOICE to insist that NOW was the time to come in.
