Labor Day weekend my wife and I headed to Castine (of course) there was space at Eaton's so we took a spot on the dock, something we never do as we prefer the privacy that a mooring or anchorage provides. However Suzanne and Kenny Eaton are good friends and customers. Suzanne (in the pic) said we just had to stay for the end of season party on Sunday, we said what the heck this could be fun. Suzanne had 15 lbs of lobster meat picked and among the food offerings were lobster rolls, fresh picked mussels and more clams than anyone could eat.

Monday we finally got off the dock, seemed like we had velcro fenders out, and headed over to Bucks Harbor.

On a sad note our faithful golden Emme passed away last week rather suddenly, this is probably the last pic we have of her.
