I mentioned that our prop shaft broke here in Stuart Fl. I'm researching dripless and understand that there are three different ones.

Tides Marine, PYI, Lasdrop.

I was researching and found out about the Lasdrop and their 'Gen 2'. I came up with the fact that Evans Starzinger switched to one from the Tides Marine during the last refit of 'Hawk',, so,,, anyone know anything about a Lasdrop Gen 2?

The yard here in Stuart (Hinkeley) is pushing the Tides Marine but it's expensive and the 'Lasdrop Gen 2' uses a different seal method which seems better by design and almost half the price.
