I don't have a brand name on our dripless seal. It consists of 3 lip seals and is bathed in oil from a reservoir with a couple feet of head. We check the reservoir daily but have never needed to add any oil. We had a set of spare seals sent from Sweden this year. We look at the seal periodically. That's the extent of maintenance. It probably would mess up the seal if we pulled the shaft. When we changed the cutless bearing this year, the stern tube was pulled instead.
Now I'm gonna knock on wood. I hate superstition, but what's a poor sailor to do, but throw some good Scotch Neptune's way once in a while!
