Arrived here this morning, and am sitting in the midst of the assembled Caribbean 1500 Rally fleet waiting to depart on Wednesday… (they finally made the good call to postpone today’s scheduled departure by 48 hours, things looking pretty iffy offshore at the moment) …
I swear, there’s enough diesel stowed on the decks of these boats to have supported Patton’s army for a week back in ’44, I doubt there’s a jerry can to be found within 30 miles of this place… (grin)
Lots of topheavy rigs to behold here, to be sure – glad I’m not gonna have to wrestle with some of this stuff on a sporty night out in The Stream… I was actually REMOVING some of the unnecessary canvas on this boat I’m on today, and everyone was looking at me like I was nuts… LOL!
Best regards,
Jon
