A buddy on his way to St. Marteen again this November has had to head east of Bermuda while sailing along in 50 knot (real) winds and 17 to 25' (real) waves. He's in a very seaworthy 54' boat.
The height of that cockpit enclosure seems to go with the davits and the dingy ;^)))
