I’m delivering a Valiant 42, bound for Antigua… Brought her down from CT, and crew will be joining me here by tomorrow night, not sure whether we’ll leave Wed. or not… I don’t like the look of the forecast very much, racing to get across The Stream before the arrival of the next front, only to face several days of very light air… This boat has no light air sails, only working sails, and we will NOT be carrying any fuel on deck… (grin)

Thursday night off Hatteras does not sound entirely pleasant, if this crowd does indeed leave Wed, I'm guessing more than one boat might regret sailing with clearer decks... Mind-boggling, the amount of crap some of these boats are putting to sea with on deck...

We shall see, I might wind up heading down the Ditch to Beaufort, at least get south of Hatteras, and hope for another opportunity next week – looks like there might be a little period of light/moderate SW at least to get us across before we get becalmed… (grin)
