Seafrost is one of the best....

...marine refridgeration manufacturers. I used a Seafrost for 13 years on our last boat without a single issue! I wonder what the differences are between your installation and mine.... In my experience the installation is everything. A great system can be ruined without careful consideration of important parameters that are pretty clearly detailed in the Seafrost manuals. I know the owner of the company and he is more than able to assess the root cause of a problem. I assume you have consulted him?

FWIW, our current boat has a Seafrost 12v system on it and I actually prefer the simplicity of this system. You forget it is there! We use about 30 amps a day cruising in New England and again the installation is everything. Sabre did a nice job and payed attention to air-flow to the unit so everything works like it should. 7 years old, about 15000 miles of sailing 3 trips to Bermuda and I have never done more than clean the icebox.
