In Response To: ever hear of Le Tonkinois varnish? ()
Easy to apply and patch the dings; doesn't flake or bubble when neglected (maybe when I retire I'll have time to attend to varnish more faithfully). Friendly advice from the distributor.
In the past I tried both Interlux (Goldspar?) and Epiphanes but I now use Le Tonk.
Here's a photo from the last time I gave the teak any serious attention; think this is after 5 coats.

- As I understand it, it's more of a "varnish oil" than a typical varnish as we think of it.
