Can of Compressed Air
Couple small Rubbermaid Dishpans to clean stuff, and cut-out large bottles like Clorox of juice gallon to soak parts
Lewmar Winch Grease (comes with Lewmar winch service kit)
1" junk paint brush for cleaning, or toothbrush
1" paint brush for grease application (comes with Lewmar winch service kit)
Wire & plastic brushes
Lewmar Pawl Oil (or 3 in one oil)
Roll HD Paper Towels or Industrial Wipes
Cleaning Solvent > Recommend Mineral Spirits, a gallon or two
Spray Degreaser
Nitrile Gloves (Many pr) or XL dishwashing gloves
8 fresh Pawl Springs per winch, or more for larger winches (10 supplied with Lewmar winch service kit)
Extra Pawls > new (if major wear on any existing pawls)
Oil Zorb pads 4-6 (work great to cover service area)
I like to do my winches when the boat is at the dock, I carefully take a winch apart and bring it to the garage and work at a bench there.
