That stove is not, IIRC, heat shielded in any way and clearance from combustibles is a question to be worked out. A city code would require 36" of clearance for an unshielded stove. When I did a heat shield for my little wood stove, I used brass sheeting held by a few screws and ferrules about one inch from the backing and it worked fine. Others may have your same set up, be sure it works to protect you from pyrolysis and fire before you finalize....?

Will you be using a bronze water deck iron or?
