Other than the well outfitted boat and legal paperwork required....
.
For us it was our land based “stuff” in a storage box.
A Credit Union account that let us auto pay bills on line. And money in the account....
A mail forwarding service.
Liability insurance for the country we were in.
After about a year we had to get a Skype in phone account so we could order boat needs. Turns out to be hard to order with, “We don't have a phone”!

And our adventures sprite!
