Yes, dorade vents.

() I am not sure what the wooden frame is around the vents in the pics shown... I just have vents. I also have full length hand holds that run from the companion way all the way to the forward bulkhead.
Indeed there is quite a bit of space below for a 27 footer. It really feels like a bigger boat.
