tends to go no lower than about 56 in winter... up to about 76 in summer. Snow would be a real phenomena. We do get snow in the local mountains however... quite a sight to be out sailing off shore on a sunny day and look back east over downtown and see the mountains covered in white stuff. "Snow board in the mountains in the morning, surf in the ocean in the afternoon" -- at least according to chamber of commerce pitch. (seems like a lot of driving to me)
