I'm so glad you're doing your blog Dave, I'm seeing new enticing places, and old ones are being renewed in my memory bank. I think the Waccamaw is one of the most mysterious and beautiful stretches of water in the world. I hope you can linger in it for a few days and enjoy a few sunsets.

Last time we anchored in Charleston(decades ago), it was hard to tear ourselves away. I'll be curious to see how close you can get to Savannah with Driftaway, but don't miss going there too and spending some time walking the city. It's an amazing southern city, oozing with history, that you just want to sit and relax, or walk the parks. Our son is there going to school these days. (SCAD)
