Throughout the 25 minute press conference video, I kept waiting for him to refer to the HORIZON RELIANCE as a "ship", but I don't think he ever did... It was obvious that until the ship was pretty much on top of them, they had not a clue about the size of the vessel that was coming to their rescue...

One of my favorite lines from the press conference, regarding the preparations they made for the rescue:

"We had to set up fenders, so we wouldn't hurt their boat..."

Hey, at least he didn't call them "bumpers", eh? (grin)
