As I said Jon, Some can be decent boats...

My friend who had/had (it was up for sale the last time I saw him) one had a good one. Yorktowns were sold at all stages of completion from bare hull (no ballast or anything inside) to fully completed. I have read about boats with internal ballast that comprised scrap iron with concrete poured over it. My friend's boat was bought as a bare hull and professionally finished to a very nice standard. Of course, that doesn't mean that they were all decent.
