OK, call me old-fashioned, but I'd suggest that inboard-opening ports (they look like plastic Becksons, to me) in the hull, below deck level, are not exactly what I'd call a desirable characteristic in a boat to be sailed offshore...
Although, on that thing, I suppose it could be argued that the rub rail is really what defines the level of the deck... (grin)
