They're timeless beautiful boats. Another small builder, this one in the UK. Swallow Boats.
In Response To: what's new? ()

I was reading the Southampton Boat Show was bustling(busiest show in it's history). Art Paine did an article on these boats (Maine Boats, Harbors). They have quite a line of simple small sailing boats suited to the waters(shallow) there. The English love their small boats and those boats have a timeless UK style.

Check some of them out. Beautiful photos of the boats and EU shores. These boats are designed for drying out and grounding(no nonsense fake keels) as well as some with water ballast. Lots of wind to contend with. They're all small and "affordable".

Swallow Boats is about to debut in the US in small sailboat shows. I'm not sure how they'll be received here? I noticed they have a "Daysailer" on the way, 26', typical of what is everywhere now.
