These were very old Hella marine fans and the wire they used back then was extremely thin. They have long since been replaced and the newer fans use a better, heavier wire. While I have not tested the wire, I think it is now heavy enough to pop a 5 amp CB before it gets hot.

These were the lightest, non fused wires in the boat.
